All good news for fans of authentic eroge games and this title is certainly something special. Often accused of being a rip-off of the Playstation’s Summer Project ( BANDAI NAMCO Studios), VR Kanojo is actually a straight development of Illusion’s own (and original) game, Kanojo.īoth the original (released in 2010) and this advanced VR version are based around the same gameplay.īasically, you get to hang out with the main character, Sakura Yuuhi, an archetypal Japanese fantasy ‘girl-next-door’.Īll of the action takes place in her bedroom and in the original game this was pretty limited as far as fun goes. However, in VR the experience is definitely heightened, delivering a pretty realistic encounter. Well, VR Kanoko isn’t really a gaming kind of game and you won’t have to complete missions, level up or follow any narrative. Instead, what you get here is a VR experience in which you can interact with the main character. This includes being able to answer questions by shaking/nodding your head as well as touching objects and accessories and changing Sakura Yuuhi’s outfits.
